Everyone has ideas on what a successful birthday party is. The children wrote their thoughts on a very good party they had been to, or how they would like their future party to be.

Outing to Naturens Hus
Anne from Naturens hus gave us a presentation on the life cycle of of a plant. The children were given seeds at their first stage of germination to examine. It was interesting to see the first changes in seeds.
After the presentation, we all planted our own seeds; vegetable or flower seeds. Then we had a wonderful picnic outside. A truly enjoyable outing!
Orientation activity at gym
Julia, the gym teacher went through the instructions for the orientation exercise.
The children were very good at map reading and finding the different items on their maps.

Job Presentation: working with movies at SF
As we had already very nicely been invited to SF by Victor's mum to see the Lasse Maja movie, many children said they knew what Victor's mum did. Everyone however learnt something new with Eva's presentation. The children thought the best part was watching movie trailers. And who knows? Maybe someone can help for film dubbing in the future?

Science: talking about autumn
The children first read a text on autumn, discussed autumn signs and then drew/painted autumn trees. Beautiful wok!
More triangle work
The children sorted triangles in many different ways: according to color, size and of course according to their sides: equilateral, isosceles and scalene.
The children then tried making triangular shapes on the iPad using the app Geoboard. The challenge was to count how many triangles you used in your figure. Not always easy!
